St. Louis Crisis Nursery

Today I visited a very special place, the Centene Center for the St. Louis Crisis Nursery. I donated shoes to the kids there on behalf of Princess of America and their charity Soles 2 Give, and I donated blankets on behalf of Abbie’s Helping Hands. I got to tour the facility. They serve kids in crisis all the way up from tiny babies to kids who are 12. I got to meet one little girl who was only two and a half weeks old. I was able to put the blankets we brought in the room for the toddlers. I sang and danced with some of the older kids who were there and I shared my crown with one little girl who loved it and talked about it to another little girl. When I turn 14, I can help hold the babies! I met with the volunteer coordinator and she said they can take all sorts of donations at any of their locations so please keep them in mind! They have separate rooms for the little babies and then the toddlers, and then the whole upstairs is for the older kids with rooms for girls and boys.

Thank you Crisis Nursery for letting me come and be a part of your day today!
