Gold Award!

This past week I was very excited to have earned my Gold level National President's Volunteer Service Award, in conjuction with

AmeriCorps and Points of Light. It is the 5th year in a row that I have earned the Gold level award. It has taken a lot of service hours and I am proud of every single one of them! I have always said as I get older I want to leave a legacy of youth community service, and am working towards my Lifetime level award! When I do different service projects I share about it so that other teenagers and young people can see that it is a great thing to do work in our communities, and also so they see other people are doing it too, which hopefully makes them want to get out and volunteer themselves. Abbie's Helping Hands has been a huge part of this!
