Abbie's Helping Hands Takes Off With Wings Of Hope

This summer I had the amazing opportunity to visit Wings of Hope at Spirit of St. Louis airport to donate blankets and tour their facility and meet their team. Wings of Hope is a charity that provides medical air transport services, free of charge, to people, especially kids, who need special medical care that they can’t get where they live.

They also partner with local medical programs in Latin America, Africa, and the Pacific to help build those resources in places that are remote or don’t have a lot of medical care options. They will use my Abbie’s Helping Hands blankets to give to kids on transport flights to help them feel comforted and safe. The giant hangar room with all of their donated airplanes was incredible. I cannot wait to donate more blankets to them and thank you so much to Mr. Heinrich of Wings of Hope for this opportunity. I can only imagine where on the world AHH blankets will go! Isn’t that awesome??
