Helping Kids In Kansas

Abbie’s Helping Hands has added another state to its reach! This weekend I was very proud to donate mini-hygiene kits to my friend Natalie from Pittsburg, Kansas. Natalie is collecting donations of toiletry items for the kids of Pittsburg Community Middle School who may be in crisis and don’t have the personal care items they need. This way they can go to the school counselor or office and get shampoo, conditioner, and other things to take care of themselves. Here are some of the kits I made and me in action making them. A special thanks to Mrs. Alberici and the Daughters of the American Revolution, whose generous donation of toiletry items went into these kits!
